Right here is a beautiful set of 2 vintage lights in ideal working order. They are in an antique style to look from the Victorian age, however they are likely from the 1950s. The lights are made of porcelain china and I do not see any chips, cracks, and so on. They are very quite! Lamps and shades might utilize a great cleaning but they prepare to make use of as is.

They are not marked however from what I check out online might be Cordey with Papka lace. I pasted some details below from comparable lamps online. An extremely royal pair, they remind me of something that would be in the Queen's castle.: ).

Cost is $80 company for the set of 2. This is an outstanding price as it consists of the sculptural shades in ivory material which are in perfect proportion to the lamps. Wonderful on bedside night tables in the bed room, their neutral, pale pastel shades match any color sheme.

Figures measure: 10" tall.
Lamps with tones measure: 21" tall.

A striking conversation piece in any room!

Some details from comparable lights online that may apply to these:.

The Cordey China Co was established by Boleslaw Cybis, a Lithuanian born artist. He studied art in St. Petersburg and Warsaw and concerned the U.S. in 1939 to repaint murals for Poland for the New York World Fair. He initially founded the Cordey China Company around 1942 then Cybis Porcelain around 1950. His Cordey figurines are remarkable for their flower decoration and fancy Victorian clothes. Genuine lace was commonly dipped in liquefied clay, understood as "Papka", to add a sensible element to the clothing of the figurines. The lace burns away in the firing process leaving just the porcelain. Some relatively easy standard lights were made, however the ornate Victorian figures are most gathered. The development of Cybis Porcelains saw a modification to a more stylized or naturistic, form of figurines.

The light includes the figurine bust, a separate porcelain base, and a metal filigree base with attached rod and electrical socket and harp.
